MEDIWARE, Inc. was founded in 2006 by purchasing the assets of MEDIWARE BV, Groningen, Netherlands (spin-off company at the University of Groningen), which developed methodology for optimal pharmacotherapy based on research carried out by, among others, the Institute for Clinical and Experimental Medicine.

The predecessor and the first distributor of the MwPharm software in the Czech Republic, Medisoft International Ltd., which operated on the Czech market in private medical practice (around 4,000 private medical practice and medical department) for 15 years and in 2006 became part of the international holding CompuGroup Medical.

The main products of the MEDIWARE, Inc. are MwPharm++, Edsim++, Online MwPharm++, Online MwPharm Calculator and MwPharm Revision System.

This project includes within the concept of E‑Health project for personalized medicine and optimal pharmacotherapy.
